I normally do not bother writing reviews but I was really surprised that this hotel was only rated 3 stars and I would like to say they definitely deserve more than 3 stars. The service and expectations was way over my expectations. Location are perfect and staffs definitely try their very best to help English speakers. They also offered a lot of free basic amenities that we did not expect. They provide recycle bag DAILY into the room and it is exceptionally useful throughout my whole trip even until my last transit back home. The free coffee provided was way better than those I bought from outside. Parking was really convenient as well, even if you do not get a spot, you get plenty of parking nearby, and the hotel will reimburse any extra that you have paid!!! We bought food from the supermarket and needed plates so that we can microwave, the hotel manage to provide everything we needed including cutleries.

location was right in the heart of sapporo's buzzing night life. staff was always friendly no matter what time of the day. they were even festive, hanging some halloween decor in the afternoon. room was spacious enough for our 3 people bedroom. it was my first onsen experience ever in japan, and karaksa made it really memorable for me, the little green karaksa bag to carry stuff and personal belongings is such a simple but a very important detail, and so useful that i even used it when i stayed at other the other onsen hotel. throughout my whole stay, i couldnt find anything unpleasant, thank you karaksa staff for making my stay wonderful, already excited to come back to sapporo to stay here again.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to the famous Tanuki Koji. Hence, it is easily accessible to many eateries and the shopping districts. Very close to the train stations and bus stations as well! Hotel staffs at the front desk are helpful, friendly and courteous. Mineral water was also generously given on a daily basis. Even if we put a “Do not disturb sign” the hotel staffs will still leave the water bottles on our door knob. I also like their modern bathroom interior with clean and new water tabs and basin, it is also plus point that they made the toilet and bathroom separated. Will definitely recommend to friends and stay in this hotel again in the future!

The hotel was clean, in a wonderful location, and had wonderful amenities! Breakfast was delicious and the public onsen was one of the best we have experienced in our 3 years in Japan. We were also so pleased with the size of the room (big enough to fit a portacrib for our baby with room to spare for our snow gear and suitcase), the comfort of the bed, and the proximity to the snow festival and train station. Self check in and check out was very easy and many of the staff spoke great English which was a huge help. We would absolutely stay here again!

This hotel is next to the Tanukikoji Shopping Arcade. You can even walk from the JR Sapporo Station to the Hotel in the underground. This is very important in the cold weather. The room is very comfortable although it is a bit small for three of us. The public bath is very good especially after staying outside in the cold for the whole day. The breakfast is excellent with both Japanese and Western styles. You can even prepare a bowel of rice with sushi everyday. The staff are always helpful.
